What a wonderful weekend of creativity! Six eager participants worked with passion to create two mixed media paintings over two days in the Creating Mixed Media Paintings workshop here at my studio. A couple of them had not done any mixed media art before. The results are awesome!

I was blown away by the diverse, fabulous pieces of art that came out of this workshop. It inspires me to see what everyone is capable of and their willingness to explore and play. Take a look at the work of these passionate painters! Some of their second pieces are above in the "finished panels" pic.

Thank you Lori, Beverley, Janet, Janice, Linda and Jackie for such an intensely creative weekend. It was a lot of fun and such a pleasure to create with all of you. You worked so hard and made beautiful mixed media paintings!
There you go... more insight into what you can create in a Holly Dean workshop. You get lots of demonstrations, one-on-one guidance, sheets of
very cool collage ephemera to use and keep AND a full-colour, multi-page
handout crammed with information and pictures!
Next up is my one-day workshop "Creating Mixed Media Collage" on July 27. We will be creating one 14" x 18" painting using acrylic paints, mediums and collage elements, with the focus on design. There are 6 spots left. I hope you can join us :) Sign up for the Creating Mixed Media Collage workshop
